Method
Step 1
Cook chicken breast in a pan with extra virgin olive oil over medium heat until golden and cooked through. Season to taste.
Step 2
Wash lettuce, slice tomatoes and cut avocado into thin slices. Toast bread slices until crisp and lightly golden.
Step 3
Spread Pesto Barilla Rosso generously over the toasted bread.
Step 4
Layer lettuce, tomato, chicken and avocado onto bread spread with Pesto Barilla Rosso, seasoning lightly between layers if desired. Add the sprouts and top with the second slice of bread.
