320g | Barilla Spaghetti |
400g | Barilla Basilico Sauce |
300g | Beef mince |
100g | Italian sausage, removed from skin and crushed |
120g | Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, grated and divided into thirds (this is naturally lactose-free) |
2 | Slices lactose-free white bread, crust removed and diced |
15g | Parsley |
8/9 | Basil leaves |
1 or 2 | Garlic cloves, crushed |
TIP | Salt and black pepper, to taste |

Method
Step 1
Soak the bread in water. In a separate bowl combine the mince and crushed sausage, 2/3 of the grated Parmigiano cheese, parsley, 1 chopped clove of garlic,the soaked bread (squeezing out excess water). Mix and when all comes together (very important to not overmix), shape into 2.5 cm meatballs. Add meatballs to tomato sauce, simmer until thoroughly cooked, about 15 minutes.

Add meatballs to a pan with the Basilico sauce, simmer until cooked through, about 15 minutes.

Meanwhile in a large pot of boiling, salted water - cook Spaghetti according to instructions on the pack.
