350g | Barilla® Gluten Free Penne |
60ml | extra virgin olive oil |
½ onion diced | |
200g | mixed mushrooms sliced |
100g | heavy cream |
100g | peas |
To taste | salt and black pepper to taste |
80g | Parmigiano Reggiano cheese grated |

Method
Step 1
BRING a large pot of water to a boil
Step 2
In a large skillet SAUTE the onion in olive oil for about 5 minutes or until slightly browned
Step 3
ADD the mushrooms and sauté for an additional 5 minutes
Step 4
ADD the heavy cream and the peas, season with salt and pepper, bring to a simmer
Step 5
COOK the pasta according to package, drain and toss with the sauce
Step 6
REMOVE from the heat and add the Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, toss to combine
