Ingredients

1 box Barilla® Penne Rigate
1 jar Barilla® Genovese Pesto*
1 ½ pint Cherry tomatoes, halved
1 cup Feta cheese, crumbled
½ cup Black olives, pitted and halved
1  tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
To taste Salt

*Option: For a homemade Genovese Pesto

2 cups Basil leaves
2 tbs Pine nuts
2 tbs Parmigiano cheese, grated
2 tbs Pecorino cheese, grated
1 /2 clove Garlic
4/5 cup Extra virgin olive oil

Method

Step 1

Process the pine nuts and garlic in a blender. Add the basil leaves, washed and dried, pulse a few times, then add EVO and process until done, fully chopped but not completely smooth.. Stir in grated Parmigiano cheese and Pecorino cheese and adjust the density with a bit of pasta cooking water before combining the two.

Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook pasta one minute less than package directions.
