Ditalini pasta salad

Ingredients

1 cup Barilla Ditalini Rigati pasta
1 tablespoon Olive oil
1 small onion, chopped
1 carrot, diced
1 celery stalk, diced
2 cups Vegetable or chicken broth
To taste Salt and pepper
Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Method

Step 1

Heat olive oil in a pot and sauté onion, carrot, and celery for 5 minutes.

Step 2

Add broth and bring to a boil.

Step 3

Add Ditalini pasta and cook until tender, about 10 minutes.

Step 4

Season with salt and pepper.

Step 5

Serve hot, topped with Parmesan cheese if desired.
