Ingredients

1 boxof Barilla No. 5 Spaghetti Pasta 500g

4 clovesof garlic, sliced thickly

50mlExtra Virgin Olive Oil

50gDiced Chorizo for a smokey rich flavour

1 tbsp.TABASCO^® Pepper Sauce (2for extra spicy)

2 tablespoonsflatleaf parsley, roughly chopped (reserve some parsley stalks beforehand)

Method

Step 1

Cook pasta according to packet instructions, less 2 minutes as we are going to cook further, reserving some cooking liquid.

Step 2

Meanwhile heat the oil in a large shallow pan or skillet and add the garlic and some parsley stalks to infuse the oil without colouring the garlic.

Step 3

Add 50g Diced Chorizo for a smokey rich flavour

Step 4

Remove the parsley stalks then add the pasta, Tabasco^® Sauce and 250ml of cooking water.

Step 5

Cook over high heat stirring continuously until most of the liquid is absorbed

Step 6

If needed, add more of the pasta water until the pasta is at the desired texture.

Step 7

Garnish with the chopped parsley before serving.
