320g (11,3 oz) Barilla GF fusilli (rotini)
500 g tomato pulp
40 g tomato concentrate
250 g canned chickpeas
15 g (1 tbsp) classic yellow mustard
20 g (1 tbsp) capers
18 g (1 tbsp) black olive patè
80 g onion, peeled and chopped
30 ml extra-virgin olive oil
1 clove garlic
2 gr oregano
to taste Salt and pepper

Method

Step 1

Here are four easy steps to prepare a delicious vegan pasta with tuna:

Heat the olive oil in a pan and sauté the onion with the whole garlic clove. When the onion has turned golden brown, add the tomatoes, then season with salt and pepper. Cook the sauce over high heat for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 3

Add the vegan tuna and cook for another 4 to 5 minutes. Remove the garlic clove, and add the minced parsley and the chopped basil.

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the fusilli until it is al dente; drain.
