Ingredients

350gBarilla^® Spaghetti

1 clovesgarlic peeled and chopped

1 teaspoonred pepper flakes or to taste

2anchovies, oil packed

60ml tablespoonsextra virgin olive oil divided

300g canItalian tomatoes peeled and crushed

60gkalamata olives pitted and halved

1 teaspooncapers drained

6leaves Italian parsley chopped

60gromano cheese grated (optional)

Method

Step 1

Bring a large pot of water to a boil and season with salt

Step 2

Saute garlic in 4 tablespoons of olive oil with anchovies and red pepper

Step 3

Just before the garlic turns yellow add olives and capers; saute two minutes

Step 4

Stir in Marinara sauce and 1/2 jar of water, bring to a simmer and add salt to taste

Step 5

Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions

Step 6

Drain and toss with the sauce

Step 7

Drizzle 2 tablespoons olive oil, sprinkle with parsley before serving
