Fusilli were born in the centre-south of Italy, and get their name by the "fuso", the knitting tool. Their shape is created by three small wings harmoniously twisted on themselves, in a spiral movement, which captures every type of sauce.
Perfect for
Rich sauces made from meat or cottage cheese. With the Fusilli Barilla you can not go wrong: they value the most elaborate and dense sauces, but also the simplest ones, and allow great results even if you want to dare some difficult culinary experiment.
If you are looking for a creative solution, combine it with a pesto of pistachios and cherry tomatoes.
