160g | Barilla® Spaghetti |
80g | Guanciale |
50g | Onion |
25ml | Extra virgin olive oil |
250g | Tomatoes |
To taste | Salt and chilli pepper |
30g | Pecorino Romano, grated |

Method
Step 1
Cut bacon into strips and sauté in a frying pan with a table spoon of extra virgin olive oil. When cooked, remove and set aside
Step 2
In the same pan cook finely minced onion until soft, and add chilli pepper
Step 3
Blanch the tomatoes in boiling water for 30 seconds, cool in ice cold water, peel and remove seeds
Step 4
Cut the tomatoes into strips, then mix with onion and guanciale. Salt and finish cooking
Step 5
Cook spaghetti in boiling salted water, drain and sauté in a frying pan with the sauce
Step 6
Spread with grated Pecorino cheese.
