Barilla® Spaghetti Pomodoro

Ingredients

Serves 2

160g Barilla® Spaghetti
400g Ripe tomatoes
20g Extra virgin olive oil (evoo)
1 clove Garlic
leaves Basil
A pinch Salt
A pinch Sugar
To taste Black pepper

Method

Step 1

Cut slightly the tomatoes, leave them in boiling water for some seconds, then let them cool down with ice and cut them into pieces

Step 2

Heat a pan, add evoo and the garlic clove

Step 3

Add the tomatoes and a little bit of salt and sugar, together with black pepper. Cook the sauce for some minutes

Step 4

In the meanwhile cook the Spaghetti as per pack description.

Step 5

Drain the pasta “al dente”, add the sauce, a couple of basil leaves and evoo, and ready to serve
