Pasta Pomodoro Spaghetti Recipe
Chef Carolina Diaz, the chef di cucina at the famous Italian restaurant Terzo Piano at the Art Institute Museum of Chicago, will represent the U.S. in the next Barilla® World Pasta Masters in Italy in October. Chef Diaz, who is of Mexican heritage, won the U.S. World Pasta Masters placement event with a simple dish that she’s been making for years — Pomodoro Guajillo pasta.
“All you need is pasta, fresh roasted peppers, tomatoes, herbs, a pinch of cream and tuna. It’s simple, but the taste speaks for itself, that’s my way of cooking,” Chef Diaz said.
